This website was started partly as a joke by a few 30 something female friends who are worn out by all the young, immature "boys" that we meet in Houston. On a recent trip to Chicago, we found an entire city of grown men who knew how to treat the ladies. But in Houston we can't seem to find a single bar where this rare breed hangs out.
There is a shortage of mid 30, responsible, available MEN in Houston. While logically there are less available men in their 30's than 20's......it's also logical that if we have so many single, available, non-crazy women in our circle of friends, there has to be an equal circle of men somewhere.....this site will give you a place to start.
This site has a list of Houston area bars and restaurants where real MEN have been spotted and corresponded with by women in this group. While there is no guarantee that you won't meet a douche bag or frat boy at these establishments, the ratio is much lower. Please feel free to use this list with the understanding that if for any reason one of these establishments should be removed for excessive douchebagery, you will email me so we can save the other women the pain of meeting unqualified boys. Likewise, if you know of a location that needs to be added to our list, please add it using the link on the tool bar.
